In 1990, Cliff Belliveau, MyMatrixx Chief Innovation Officer, completed his undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics with a concentration on Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Natural Language Processing with hopes of landing a job in AI. Unfortunately, the only opportunities for employment were focused on academics or research and development.

Fast forward to 2026 − how times have changed. Artificial Intelligence, founded on the principles of computer science, has evolved into an unstoppable force that has been transformed by data science, and we are feeling its impact on the workers’ compensation industry.
