From risk analysis to clinical intervention to better outcomes.
In workers’ compensation claims, the more data you have about a patient’s injury or illness, health history, and medications, the better you can identify trends and risks and then recommend a treatment plan that is safe and effective, leading to faster recovery and function which ultimately leads to faster return to work.
In a recent study with Broadspire, MyMatrixx by Evernorth put this to the test using advanced analytics and risk scores to uncover early claim trends and guide targeted clinical intervention. The impact was significant. Claims that received early insight and intervention closed 17–18% faster—an average of 79 fewer days open.
But faster claim closure is only part of the story. The combination of data-driven risk identification and evidence-based clinical intervention is helping reduce patient risk, optimize medication therapy, and improve overall outcomes.
In a recent WorkCompWire Partner Post, MyMatrixx clinical expert, Courtney Deck, RPh, explains how smarter data, earlier intervention, and expert clinical collaboration are reshaping workers’ compensation results.
