The myMatrixx team was excited to return to the 2022 National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference. There were many ways to engage, learn and connect with our team during the conference. Check out the main highlights below!

New Innovation Studio a Hit with Conference Attendees

NWCDC conference attendees had the chance to participate in our self-guided, interactive showcase featuring data product innovations and prototypes for upcoming new myMatrixx solutions. Our new Innovation Studio was a touch-panel kiosk featuring:

myMatrixx Thought Leaders Share Innovative Workers’ Comp Insights

Dr. Adam Seidner, The Hartford Chief Medical Officer, and Phil Walls, myMatrixx Chief Clinical Officer, presented "Cannabis and Behavioral: Facts and Faction" as one of the general conference sessions. Both presenters discussed what we hear and know about cannabis, the effects of cannabis on the brain, workplace safety and return-to-work goals for injured patients.

Attendees of this general session now have insights to:

  • Define the endocannabinoid system
  • Understand the role of receptors and the effects produced by cannabis and its various components
  • Comprehend the potential benefits of cannabis, as well as its risks and limitations

Hollie Lamboy, myMatrixx Senior Vice President of Product Development, and Cliff Belliveau, myMatrixx Chief Innovation Officer, presented "How Automation & Decision Intelligence Transform Pharmacy Workflows as part of the National Comp Theater sessions.

Both speakers shared how data and visual analytics, decision intelligence, automation and predictive analysis are key to driving better decision-making and optimizing claims management. After the session, attendees should take into consideration the following:

  • Automating the claims environment with decision intelligence
  • Building a more intelligent prior authorization process
